The feature people do not find
Generate a carousel and you get the slide text — but you can also design the slides and download them as images, ready to post. No Canva round-trip.
The button is Edit & download, next to Copy all slides under your slide preview.
You have to generate a carousel first. The button does not exist until there are slides to design. If you are looking for it on an empty Carousel tab, that is why you cannot see it.
Generate first, then design
- Go to the Carousel tab
- Pick your slide count and add any context
- Hit Generate slides
- When the slides appear, click Edit & download
What you can change
The editor gives you per-slide control:
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Text | Edit the words on the slide |
| Font | Change the typeface |
| Size | Change the text size |
| Background | Change the slide background |
Work through the slides one at a time. Nothing you change here alters the caption Suzie wrote — this is the visual layer only.
Downloading
Two options in the export bar:
- Download slide — the slide you are on
- Download all — the whole carousel
On a phone, downloading saves to your Photos, which is what you want when you are posting from the same device. Tap Download slide, then save the image — it lands in your camera roll ready to upload.
This works from the Suzie icon on your home screen as well as in a browser tab.
Suggested workflow
- Generate the carousel
- Refine the words in the refine chat until the copy is right — see SOP U-05
- Then open Edit & download
- Design the slides, download all
- Post, using Suzie's caption
Getting the words right before you design saves you re-doing the visual work.
Known limitation: branding
The editor currently stamps Hey Ashley Walker branding on slides rather than your own. This is a known gap and it is being worked on. If you need your own branding on a carousel today, download the slides and add it in your own design tool.
