Two different things

Refining changes the draft in front of you, right now.

Feedback — the thumbs — changes what Suzie writes for you from now on.

Most people only ever use the first one. The second is what stops you correcting the same thing every week.

Refining

Every generated draft opens into a chat with the draft as the first message. Talk to it:

The refine chat stays locked to the format you are in. A reel stays a reel.

Ask a question and she answers. Ask for a change and she re-outputs the draft. She works out which you meant.

The thumbs

There is a feedback bar on every message in the refine chat — including the first draft.

Thumbs up tells her that landed.

Thumbs down opens a short list of reasons:

Reason Use it when
Doesn't sound like me The voice is off
Too salesy / pushy It reads like an ad
Wrong structure or format Right idea, wrong shape
Too generic / not specific It could be any agent in any city
Off-topic / wrong angle She solved the wrong problem
Too long or too short Length is wrong for the format
Something else Anything else — add a note

You can add a note as well as picking a reason. The note is the valuable part.

Why the thumbs are worth using

Your thumbs-down feedback gets distilled into a short list of standing rules attached to your account — things Suzie avoids in everything she writes for you afterwards. Not just the next message. Every generation, every tab.

So "you keep saying 'nestled' and I would never say that" is worth ten seconds of typing, because you say it once and it stops.

Two things worth knowing:

Regenerate avoiding this

When you thumbs-down a draft you also get a one-click regenerate avoiding this option. It replays the request with your objection applied, so you get a fresh draft without having to explain yourself in prose.

Good for a quick second swing. For anything more specific, just say what you want in the chat.

Getting the most out of it

Be specific in the note. "Bad" teaches nothing. "Too many exclamation marks and you called my buyers 'folks'" teaches a lot.

Thumbs-down the first draft, not just the fifth. People refine four times and then rate the final version. Rating the first draft is what tells her where to start next time.

Use thumbs up too. It is not just politeness — it confirms what is working so she keeps doing it.

Do not fight the same battle twice. If you have corrected something three weeks running, that is a thumbs-down with a note, not another manual edit.
